The 5GITL operations will include analysis of technology design and cybersecurity vulnerability assessments as well as stand-alone and interoperability testing in the lab and operational environments.
The 5GITL is a vendor-agnostic research and testing facility focused on the following:
- Validation. Validate vendor claims regarding their 5G offerings
- Vulnerability Identification. Identify 5G vulnerabilities at the device, system, and ecosystem levels
- Cyber Kill Chain Analysis. Conduct research on new 5G cyber kill chains
- Space Systems Security. Conduct research into 5G space system security
- Mitigation Measures. Provide mitigation measures to allow for assured 5G security
- Best Practices. Deliver reports, best practices, lessons learned, and training to our stakeholders
