Protection of Space Based Transportation Systems Sector Capabilities​

Stephenson Stellar Corporation (SSC) is focused on analyzing vulnerabilities, attack vectors, cyber kill chains, and cyber assurance solutions of space-based capabilities that are related to the subsectors of the Transportation Systems Sector. An overarching goal is to gain knowledge so that senior decision makers can effectively use government funds and expedite research to protect space-based assets.   ​

SSC engineers are focused on the following:​

• Horizon Scanning.  Identify lessons learned, define best practices, leverage existing research, and establish contacts for future collaborative efforts
• Attack Vector Analysis. Characterize state of the art attack vectors and cyber kill chains and the implications for Research and Development  expenditures relative to protecting United States space capabilities that support the Transportation Systems Sector
• Cyber Assurance. Investigate methods and systems that facilitate the use of cyber tools and solutions to make space-based assets that support the Transportation Systems Sector more secure​
