Defensive Cyber Operations for Space

Stephenson Stellar Corporation (SSC) is leading efforts to improve Defensive Cyber Operations for Space  and is contributing solutions and expertise to assure a more resilient space environment. Our technical work is focused on analyzing cyber vulnerabilities, cyber-attack vectors, cyber kill chains, and providing cyber assurance solutions in the space domain. SSC’s assessments, reports, and recommendations are being used to assist senior leaders in making informed decisions. ​ 

SSC is currently executing in the following technical areas:​

• Radio Frequency (RF) Detection.  Develop a RF anomaly detection capability using machine learning.  Identify and detect attempts at RF jamming, hijacking or tampering of data on ground antenna communications.​
• Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Anomaly Detection.  Detect EMI attacks on-board space vehicles, collect EMI data, benchmark normal vs abnormal, and send data downlink for analysis and automatic alerts.​
